Kim Kardashian reportedly thinks having her baby in France will be "romantic".
The reality TV star and her rapper beau Kanye West are due to become parents this summer, with the little one thought to be due in June or July.
Kanye has been spending time in France working on new music and his clothing line and there has been speculation Kim could give birth there. This was compounded when she visited a hospital while in Paris and it's now been claimed she has decided to have her baby away from her native US.
"She just wants to be with Kanye as much as possible in the run-up to the birth. She wants him there at the birth and she now realises that means it has to be in Paris," an insider told Heat magazine. "She's finally come around to the idea of just staying there and having her baby in Europe. It is one of their favourite places as a couple, so she thinks it will be romantic to have their child there."
Kim's sister Kourtney gave birth to her children Mason and Penelope in Los Angeles, with the whole Kardashian crew on hand to lend her support. It's thought this was one of the things Kim struggled with, but she has decided to put her man and child before her mom and siblings.
"Having the baby in France makes it all about her and Kanye rather than her family and the show - which is what she wants for her new family," the source explained. "They're even looking at hospitals in Nice in case the baby comes while Kanye is in Cannes for The Great Gatsby soundtrack lunch."
