Kim Kardashian raised a few eyebrows this week after she shared that she'd be exiting "Keeping Up With the Kardahsians" after season nine. The pregnant reality star opened up about her future in an interview with DuJour magazine, noting that her relationship with Kanye West "has taught me a lot about privacy."
Kim is currently filming the eighth season of the series, which will debut in June, and Kim revealed that the ninth is likely to be her last. "I think there's always an evolution of, you know, what you want to do in life," she said. "It's all about finding things that really excite you and motivate you and spark you all over again. I'm realizing that no matter what, if you go into something with all these expectations and plans, once you're actually living it, it could be completely different."
But Kim took to her blog on Wednesday to clarify her statements. "As everyone knows, we are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10," she wrote, shutting down the chatter that she was nearing her end on the series that made her a superstar.
"The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it's a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it. It has given me such a rare opportunity to share more of my life with all of you and has brought my family closer to each other," she said. "I'm looking forward to the new season and beyond. The fact is that I have many goals that I still need to reach and accomplish and I (like so many of you) don't know where my life will be in the next couple of years, but I'm looking forward to continuing this journey."
What does remain is the fact that Kim won't allow cameras into the delivery room when she gives birth to Baby Kimye this July. "I'm going to keep that private," she told back in January, adding that her child isn't likely to be featured at all on the show.
While Kanye has made cameos on her E! shows throughout their courtship, she also shared with DuJour that she's quickly inheriting his love of a private life. She added that when fans ask for photos now she's less willing to agree, sharing, "I just tell them, sorry, but my boyfriend won't let me."
