Kings of Leon returned to the Verizon Wireless Amphitheater last night (July 31) where they were forced to leave the stage back in 2010 for being pelted with pigeon poo.
The incident back in 2010 caused the show to end prematurely. Yet last night's performance was thankfully without pigeon-poo, and drummer Nathan Followill was relieved after the gig, tweeting: "Thank you St Louis for an amazing night & thank you pigeons for a shit free show. Catch y'all on the flip side."
Bassist Jared Followill posted on Instagram before the show, revealing that he was already being mocked by his friends about the pigeon. One friend texted a picture of a pigeon and said: "They are coming for you. Please God!!"
The band from Tennessee played a massive set at this year's Isle Of Wight festival, having released their sixth album 'Mechanical Bull' in September 2013, which was their fourth Number One album in the UK.
