Kylie Minogue says Coldplay performing at the London Olympic Games would be "spine-tingling".
The pop songstress took to the stage at the Sydney Olympics in 2000 and has discussed the upcoming sports event taking place in the UK city later this year.
Kylie says the experience is a thrilling one and the stage would welcome talented musicians like Sir Elton John and Coldplay.
"That would be appropriate; Elton is a living legend. It would be sensational," she explained in an interview with Stylist when Elton's name was mentioned in the running.
"And having just seen Coldplay recently that would be spine-tingling as well.
"What I mostly remember from my performance at Sydney 2000 is fear. Fear, excitement, and also pride. The pride in the country was so immense at the time. To be in the stadium, centre stage and know it's being broadcast to four billion people; it was just such an honour."
Kylie was a fan of sports when she was at school. The petite singer has revealed what event she'd compete in if she was an Olympic athlete.
"In my dreams I would run the 100 metres. It's so succinct, thrilling and iconic. I used to be sporty. Needless to say, at school things like long jump, high jump and anything involving height were not my forte," she smiled.
"But I was pretty good at gymnastics and a zippy little netball wing attack. In my late teens I got into yoga and things like spinning and dance aerobics. Late 20s, I took up snowboarding and was heli-boarding after only two weeks (there were three guys in our group and I was not going to be the girl who couldn't keep up!)"
Kylie is currently dating Spanish model, Andrés Velencoso. During the interview, the star was asked to choose what is most important to her in a man - looks, humour or a great lover.
"Can I choose a combination of all three? You definitely have to be able to laugh. I can't imagine a relationship where you don't get each other's humour. Looks are lovely but I think if you're attracted to someone you find what's attractive in them anyway," she revealed.
"And in the bed department, that's a bonus… In recent times let's say I've gone for the Latino type. Andreas is Spanish, Olivier was French and I had another director boyfriend [Stephane Sednaoui] who was French. The common denominator is being creative and artistic."
