Lady Antebellum think touring is just like going on "summer camp".
The American country pop band has achieved huge success lately, picking up the best country album award at this year's Grammys for Own the Night.
Charles Kelley, Hillary Scott and Dave Haywood are still astounded by their success. The love everything about the jobs, especially playing shows for fans.
"There are definitely times when you miss your bed, but you get used to the routine of [touring]. It kind of feels like summer camp," Dave laughed.
The male members of the group have made a special allowance for Hillary. She has a separate section on the tour bus, which includes her own bathroom.
"I have my own bed, and a bathroom back there, so I do get my space. I have a TV and anything I could ever need. I don't have a refrigerator, but I would never come out if I did!" she giggled.
Dave quickly added to Parade: "There were one too many times I forgot to put the toilet seat back down, so she put her own bathroom in the back!"
In 2011, the group stole the show at the Grammys by picking up the album of the year, record of the year and song of the year for Need You Now. They were astounded by that success and did not expect to triumph again at this year's ceremony.
Although picking up prizes means a lot to the trio, they know there is a lot of hard work ahead of them too.
"We want to be doing this as long as The Eagles and Alabama, all those other great groups that have come before us," Dave said.
Part of the plan includes introducing their music to more people. Charles revealed the group are currently planning a tour of Europe which they hope will win them some new fans.
