“I especially don’t like anyone yelling out Lady Gaga. It would freak me out,” she said.
The star made the confessions to reporter Anderson Cooper on the 60 Minutes show in the US.
She also insisted she no longer uses cocaine, but still uses marijuana.
“I smoke a lot of pot when I write music,” she said. “I’m not going to sugar-coat it for 60 Minutes that, you know, I’m like some sober kind of human being because I’m not. I drink a lot of whisky and I smoke when I write. I don’t do it a lot because it’s not good for my voice. I don’t want to encourage kids to do drugs. But when you ask me about the sociology of fame and what artists do wrong, what artists do wrong is they lie. And I don’t lie. I have built up goodwill with my fans and they know all I am.”
