Lady Gaga and the Black Keys will join rock gods the Rolling Stones when they play New Jersey this weekend for a pay-per-view event.
The legendary British rockers confirmed on Twitter that they will be joined by Gaga, the Black Keys and Bruce Springsteen when they play the Prudential Center in Newark on Saturday. The gig marks their final U.S. stop on their 50 and Counting Tour. And, for those who can't make the show, billed as "One More Shot," the pay-per-view stream will begin at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
"I am so honored and excited to announce I will be performing with @rollingstones on Dec15 for their 50th Anniversary Concert 'One More Shot,' " Gaga tweeted about the gig on Monday (December 10), adding, "He had me at 'hello, it's Mick.' "
The Stones have been playing shows on and off for the last month. They played two gigs in London in November, where they were joined by Jeff Beck, Mary J. Blige, Eric Clapton and Florence Welch. Blige, along with Gary Clark Jr, joined the guys again this past Saturday when they took the stage at the Barclays Center. They are slated to play the "12-12-12" concert, to raise money for victims of Hurricane Sandy, on Wednesday and will play Newark on Thursday, December 13 as well.
"We're excited these extraordinary artists, Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga and the Black Keys, had agreed to help celebrate our 50th anniversary as we share the night live with our fans all over the world," the Stones said in a statement. "Now the fun begins of trying to figure out the best songs to perform together."
