While many of her critics may say this is a narcissistic move, New York Daily News reports that Lady Gaga attempted to help her own cause on Monday night! A source who attended the diva's promotional event at Best Buy in Union Square says Gaga bought $995 worth of copies of Born This Way, which should help jack up the SoundScan figures! The source also says the pop queen then gobbled up a bunch of Zynga game cards that included a free download of the album.
? At the event, fans had to buy the CD to get Gaga's autograph so we're not sure if she gave the CDs away to other fans or not. She did, however, sign and give away Zynga cards. She also hung out till after midnight, signing stuff for over 500 fans.
