It's been a close call many times, but Polaroids have emerged with Lady Gaga getting her gagas out in bondage gear for art.
Tokyo photographer Nobuyoshi Araki photographed the burgeoning megastar for Japanese Vogue Hommes in 2009.
She was bound up in ropes ' Japanese kinbaku bondage ' and vinyl for the paint-splatter photoset.
While these shots were pretty risqué, it's the Polaroids from the shoot that show a lot more skin.
SmileInYourFace has posted the Polaroids, showing Gaga topless, bottomless, and mostly nude apart from rope and platform heels.
This isn't much more than we'd see at a Gaga live show, or in videos, but it proves that even post-The Fame she was still willing to let it all hang out for art.
