Overview
Music videos by the artists including Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber have dominated YouTube this year, it’s been announced.
Bieber’s ‘Baby’ was the most popular with 406 million views, while shorts for Shakira, Eminem and Rihanna also proved popular.
YouTube, which is owned by Google, separated commercial music videos from its official top-10.
As a result, the viral hit ‘Bed Intruder Song’, which saw Alabama student Antoine Dodson recall an attempted rape against his sister, was the most-watched video.
A parody of Ke$ha's ‘Tik To’ by Key of Awesome was the second biggest, while teen star Greyson Chance was third.
The top-10 also included OK Go’s video for ‘This Too Shall Pass’ and the trailer to The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
