The singer replaced Oprah, who fell to number two, following a year that has seen her earn $90 million from her Monster Ball World Tour.
The singer has also attract 32 million Facebook fans and over 10 million followers on Twitter.
Teen star Justin Bieber is new entry at number three. The 17-year-old has earned $53 million over the last twelve months from touring, music sales and his 3D movie.
Celebrities who failed to make the cut this year included Britney Spears, who took 2010 off to record her new album 'Femme Fatale'.
