Lady Gaga Lends Voice To Kendrick Lamar's 'Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe'

Call it an early holiday present. One of the two long-awaited collaborations between Lady Gaga and Kendrick Lamar has finally been released. The Mother Monster gifted her fans with her version of his good kid, m.A.A.d city track "Bitch, Don't Kill My Vibe."

While the song remains pretty much the same as it appears on his album release, Gaga is now the featured vocal on the hook. Offering up a bit of an apology for waiting so long to release the tune, she wrote, "We feel bad about killing your vibe, so here's the demo you never got to hear. And the chillun in Rio, and backstage in Colombia."

She also treated fans to some artwork for the track. In it, she's done up like a topless fairy godmother standing next to a man (presumably Lamar) wearing a Mitt Romney mask and smoking a fake cigarette. She added, "love you bad kids."

Prior to the release, Lamar commented on having to cut Gaga from the track to MTV News last month, citing some behind-the-scenes back and forth for the hold up. "The fact is, I had to realize the business end of this game. I come from the grind where we put out mixtapes. You ain't gotta worry about clearances or even deadlines and with that situation, that situation was a deadline situation," K-Dot said. "We had to meet these pre-orders. I was frustrated about it. My team was frustrated about it, but at the same time, we had to move forward."

He noted that while both tracks, including the still-unreleased "Partynauseous," were "in the can," they could be released at any point (as evidenced by the release of "Kill My Vibe.") Weeks before, Gaga had also confirmed that it was some label holdups that held both tracks from being release, but implied there was no hard feelings between the two performers, noting, "He's a good kid, its just sometimes a mad city."
