Lady Gaga is the most charitable celebrity, DoSomething.org has claimed.
The extravagant singer is well known for her bizarre outfit choices and outlandish performances, but it appears she also has a heart of gold.
Gaga has worked tirelessly for gay rights and AIDS prevention and this year she also launched an anti-bullying campaign and even went to the White House with her objectives.
The 25-year-old also set up the Born This Way Foundation, the name taken from her hit song, in her bid to help empower young people.
Justin Bieber, 17, came in second place and was also the youngest on the list. He has worked with Pencils of Promise which is an organisation that has built 41 schools in Laos, Nicaragua and Guatemala.
Coming in third is George Clooney who was recognised for his on-going work with the victims of political turmoil in the Sudan.
The top ten list also included Will and Jada Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Ellen DeGeneres, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Dwight Howard and Demi Lovato.
