Lady Gaga has been caught out posting a picture of a crowd on Instagram claiming it was her audience when it was actually a Metallica crowd.
Mediaite pointed out that Lady Gaga posted on her Instagram page, "Those little dots are fans, and that's our stage and lights beaming from the center. Unreal 90,000 ppl showed up! What a magical night #artraveQuebec" with the incredible crowd shot.
Opps … those "little dots" were actually 130,000 little head banging dots taken three years earlier at Festival D'été' in Quebec, Canada. She had the right venue but the wrong gig and the wrong year.
She corrected the photo on Twitter saying she "was not trying to fool anyone". "Here's a proper pic. Maybe the Madonna fans on your site can use a microscope to count the fans," she wrote later.
