Lady Gaga has become the first person to reach 10 million followers on Twitter, according to Famecount.com, the social media statistics service.
Gaga reached this digital milestone on Saturday night and tweeted about it the following morning, posting this tweet: "10MillionMonsters! I'm speechless, we did it! Its an illness how I love you. Leaving London smiling."
In July 2010, Gaga was the first living person to achieve 10 million Facebook likes, and in October 2010, Gaga became first to reach 1 billion views on YouTube. She was the reigning queen of the digital space, until...
...Justin Bieber roared past her with YouTube views, while rapper Eminem garnered more Facebook likes earlier this year, unseating Gaga from her digital throne. Twitter, however, remains the turf over which she rules.
