Lady Gaga reveals how heartache inspired her new music video

Gaga's new 13 minute clip for the song sees her eating cereal topless and playing a piano naked.

Despite now being one of the biggest stars in the world, the video tells the story of how the 25-year-old was once dropped by her record company.

She told E! News: 'It was one of the worst days of my life and it happened quite quickly, but in my mind, when I think back on that period of my life, it all happened very slow. It is my personal way of seeing things. If you give up after something like that, you were never destined to be an entertainer'.

The Bad Romance singer claims the video's nude scenes are similar to how she reacted in real life having been told she was no longer wanted by Island Def Jam Records.

Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, added: 'Well, I was naked in real life when it happened. That's probably the most honest moment in that video of everything I've ever done. My directorial decision was for them to just f***ing roll the cameras, because I couldn't go in and out of the moment.'
