Lady Gaga has rubbishes claims of a scam over the wristbands the singer released to help Japan's earthquake relief efforts.
Earlier this week, a Michigan-based legal network filed a lawsuit against Lady Gaga alleging that not all proceeds from the wristbands were going towards victims of the March earthquake and tsunami.
But representatives of Lady Gaga have denied the accusation, reports Reuters.
"This misguided lawsuit is without merit and unfortunately takes attention away from the kind deeds of the fans around the world who are supporting the people of Japan," they said.
Lady Gaga has reportedly donated around $3million to Japan through the sale of the wristbands and other means.
