Lady Gaga has thanked the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) for protecting fans who camped outside her hotel over night.
The singer's followers – dubbed Little Monsters – sang and chanted Lady Gaga's name while she was staying at the upmarket Château Marmont this week.
To repay the favour, Lady Gaga repaid those who had camped out with fast-food from a nearby McDonalds and threw a letter down from her hotel window.
In the letter, which you can see below, Lady Gaga paid special tribute to the police: "Kisses to the cops for keeping you safe.”
Lady Gaga was staying in Los Angeles ahead of her appearance on US chat show Jimmy Kimmel Live! last night (July 29).
The singer was interviewed on the programme and also performed a medley of songs – check out her rendition of 'You And I' below.
