The 24-year-old Poker Face singer will take her 'Monster Ball' tour to Italy in December and the designer label is planning to create her costumes.
Roberta Armani, head of VIP relations at the label, told the Wall Street Journal, 'A huge company like Giorgio Armani has the duty to always be alert to trends and what appeals to young people.
'It helped to see how the world is through Lady Gaga, the way she uses Facebook and Twitter.'
She added that Gaga is the first celebrity to have had an Armani gown specially designed for her, which she wore at this year's Grammy Awards ceremony. Others usually pick from the existing collection.
Roberta explained, 'It wouldn't be possible to give Gaga a look from the collection because she wears pieces of art. It's theatrical.'
