Lady Gaga was recently in England and she spoke to the Mirror about a whole mess of topics. "I like being alone," she said. "I lived alone for so long when I was in NYC fighting for my shot at stardom, so there is something that is very sentimental to me about time with my wigs and a glass of whisky." Wigs and whisky are the cold comfort for Gaga. God, we love her!
How does she relax? "I play piano by myself sometimes. I write poetry, I read and I play with my wigs and I listen to my music." She also revealed that she puts some thought into her look at times and does not at others. She admitted, "Sometimes, I plan my outfits very far in advance, and sometimes not very far at all."
What else spilled forth from the mouth of the Gaga? "I'm a New York girl at heart, but I love it here," she said about the UK! And she's not purchased any Scottish castle, as had been reported in the press. "I'm not really interested in setting the record straight about anything," she said. "But I don't have a castle."
About Born This Way, she says, "The album is about living halfway between reality and fantasy at all times, challenging the social idea that magic is artificial. Whereas I believe that what's magical inside of you is what makes you special, and unique."
About that deep-fried Mars bar? With a mouth full of battered chocolate, she said, "I don't eat, so this is like Christmas in my mouth."
Christmas in the mouth is a deep-fried Mars bar.
