The 25-year-old former Hills star was apparently spotted with Hough at the Sayers Club in Hollywood last night, and an onlooker said they looked more than a bit friendly, according to E! Online.
'They were pretty cosy. Definitely playful and flirty,' said the witness.
'They were close to each other. He had his arm around her waist. They were dancing and also holding hands.'
A security guard apparently tried to block the paparazzi's view of the Conrad and Hough - who romanced Cheryl Cole after working as a dancer in one of her music videos - as they left.
Meanwhile a source confirmed that the night out was definitely a date.
'They've been on a few dates together,' said the insider.
Reps for Hough and Conrad didn't comment.
