Lauren Conrad to release new beauty book

The reality star-turned-entrepreneur is putting together a follow-up to Lauren Conrad Style - titled Lauren Conrad Beauty - which will be packed full of diet, skincare, make-up and hairstyle tips and how-to guides.

And fans who submit their beauty questions to LaurenConrad.com could even end up seeing their answer in the book, Us Weekly reports.

Meanwhile, the former Hills star’s latest novel, The Fame Game, will hit stores on April 3, 2012.

It tells the tale of Madison Parker – the heroine from Conrad’s LA Candy trilogy – as she realizes that Hollywood isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

The New York Times bestselling author explained: 'The tone is going to be slightly darker.

'The first book was written through the eyes of someone who had never been to Hollywood before, who never really aspired toward fame or money.

'This series is about a girl who loves everything that fame is, and that's all she's ever really wanted.'
