25 year-old Conrad made her comments in US beauty magazine, Allure.
Last year 24 year-old Montag dramatically altered her body by having ten cosmetic procedures in one day including a mini brow lift, liposuction on her waist and thighs, buttock augmentation and breast implants.
Asked what she though about Montag's decision, which featured heavily in the US press, Conrad said: 'I saw People magazine just like everybody else. I don't think this is a happy story at all. There's just no right answer there.'
