Lea Michele instructed her interior designer not to touch her Barbra Streisand wall.
The actress opened up her stylish Los Angeles home to show off the results of a recent style makeover by her designer friend Estee Stanley.
The 26-year-old Glee star asked Estee to give her picturesque West Hollywood bungalow a "cosy" overhaul with warm colours and luxury soft furnishings.
She also asked her to keep the special wall she has dedicated to her idol Barbra - which features pictures of the 71-year-old star – exactly as it is.
"The only direction she gave me was that she wanted it to be cosy. And not to touch Barbra," Estee told Domaine Home.
The former musical theatre star has spoken before about her admiration of iconic diva Barbra.
Lea herself told the publication how thrilled she was with her elegant writing desk around the corner from the main living room, admitting it made her feel just like Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and the City.
"I'm definitely feminine, but at the same time I don't want my house to be overtly so. I wanted it to have touches of masculinity," Lea gushed.
"I call [my desk] my Bradshaw."
Estee finished by boasting that Lea was pleased with the results of her work. She shared the star's reaction upon seeing her new home.
"She squealed and sort of almost cried," Estee revealed. "I think she was shocked that she loved it."
Lea added: "I always had the utmost faith!"
