The 25-year-old actress's character Rachel Berry loses her virginity to Monteith's character Finn in a new episode of the show.
Speaking about the scene, she said to ET: 'So I sat down with Cory and I was like, okay, we're doing this. Please, just don't make me laugh - just keep it serious.'
She added: 'But it was really wonderful, I have to say. I adore him so much, and I'm so thankful that I got to do that with him. You know he, as an actor, challenges me, and I just felt so comfortable with him.'
