LeAnn Rimes sometimes thinks '[she's] done' with being a chart-topping star.
The 29-year-old songstress rose to fame at the tender age of 13 and has since gone on to achieve international success.
LeAnn has confessed growing tired of her hectic life at times.
''ve gone through it all at a very young age. I think one of my biggest accomplishments is being able to handle the industry,' she said. 'Trust me, I've had my moments. I've ridden the rollercoaster. I've still got a successful career on the other side. I've come into my own as a true artist. I have the knowledge and wisdom to be in a cool place.
'There are always still times when I want to come off the rollercoaster. I'm like, 'I'm 29, I'm done!''
The country singer is currently promoting her thirteenth studio album, Lady & Gentlemen, which is her second cover album to date. The star says putting her own stamp on the male-led songs was fun.
'All of them are written for men. They are now from a woman's perspective. We bring out the sexiness in it. I never thought 16 Tons could be sexy!' she laughed in an interview with BBC Breakfast.
'We paid homage to the originals but put a completely different spin on it.'
LeAnn is a country music icon of the generation, but admits to appreciating all genres of music. The blonde star also likes to incorporate different music influences into her own tracks.
' listen to everything. If music is good, then I listen to it,' she said. ''ll always dabble in other things but country music is where my heart will always lie.'
