LeAnn Rimes is "ready to leave her twenties behind."
The singer will turn 30 on Tuesday.
She and her husband celebrated her new epoch by hosting a "Die, 20s, die!" themed party at a private home in Laguna Beach, California over a week ago.
LeAnn is happy to be moving on, as some of the life events she dealt with in her twenties were tough.
"I've been ready to leave my 20s behind," she told People magazine.
"I had so many amazing things happen in my 20s, and I also had a lot of hard lessons to learn.
"I really have been truly excited about turning 30. I'm ready to be stronger than ever. It's a new chapter."
LeAnn's husband presented her with a diamond Cartier bracelet that spells out "Love" as a gift for her big day.
"I've always wanted one. I cried so hard when [Eddie] gave it to me," LeAnn gushed. "He's always so thoughtful.
"A friend I've known since I was 15 had everyone make a little video about their favourite memory of me, and he put it all together. It made me cry for half a day. I have a beautiful life – I am lucky."
