Rimes and Rancic met up for drinks after the E! News personality recently suggested the 29 year-old was looking too thin during an interview with TheHuffingtonPost.com.
The two had exchanged words online before Rancic suggested they meet up for a drink.
And since they met, it seems like the pair have become friends.
Giuliana, 36, told E! News: 'I'm happy we finally got together and put this whole fiasco behind us. We had a really nice time and I hope to see her again soon.'
And Rimes took to her Twitter page on Wednesday and wrote: 'So amazing to talk to you [Giuliana] over drinks. I adore you! You are beautiful and we were meant to meet for a reason.'
