It looks like the most recent stay at rehab has resonated with Lindsay Lohan.
Though Cliffside Malibu neither confirmed or denied that Lohan was there, it was leaked somehow to the press. Their program to sobriety seems to have spoken to the "Canyons" actress who is hell bent on regaining her career and staying away from the negative influencers that brought her down.
Lohan now reportedly is banning alcholic beverages from her surroundings.
Lindsay Lohan is determined to stay sober following her release from Cliffside Malibu Treatment Center. According to TMZ, her new life post-rehab includes having her momager Dina Lohan rid her home of liquor when she's at home. The recovering actress also bans alcohol from her hotel room.
Lindsay reportedly instructed staffers at the Beverly Hills Hotel to remove alcohol from her room's minibar during her stay. Also for her guest hosting stint on "Chelsea Lately" the producers put non-alcoholic drinks only in her dressing room.
Additionally, the 27-year-old actress reportedly would be accompanied by a sober coach at least for the next week so that she would not be tempted to touch liquor.
Lohan finished her court-ordered rehab stint earlier this week. However, she was almost immediately instructed to enroll in a mandatory therapy by a judge after receiving a letter from Cliffside's CEO and founder Richard Taite. Experts at the facility argued that Lindsay needed the sessions to overcome the addiction. Taite boasts one of the highest success rates for people succeeding in kicking various forms of addiction and has outlined Cliffside Malibu's effective philosophy in his best-selling book "Ending Addiction for Good."
"Our entire clinical team is in unanimous agreement that if these sessions are not required by the court and attendance not verified once a month to ensure accountability, it is a set up for almost certain failure," the letter read.
Lohan's therapy sessions will be carried out three times a week by face-to-face meetings if her schedule permits, or phone and Skype if she's out of town.
