Acclaimed Irish singer Lisa Hannigan has announced a twelve-date headline tour of the UK through April and May 2009.
This will be Hannigan's first UK tour since parting with Damien Rice's band and follows on from her critically acclaimed sold-out show at London's St Johns Church in December 2008.
Starting at Aberdeen's Lemon Tree on April 29 and finishing at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on May 13, the live dates will provide the public with the opportunity to hear tracks from Hannigan's stunning debut album Sea Sew, which debuted in the US Billboard Charts this week and is released in the UK on 27 April.
Dubln's Jape, winner of Ireland's Choice Music Prize for his current album Beirut, will perform solo as support.
