Overview
The Hollywood legend cancelled her concert in Portland last night, Wednesday, where she had been due to be presented with the key to the city.
Portland Ovations confirmed the postponement but did not elaborate on the 65-year-old’s illness.
The company told The Portland Press Herald, 'Ms Minnelli fell ill just prior to her afternoon sound check and cannot perform as scheduled.
'Ms Minnelli and Portland Ovations deeply regret the disappointment this will cause her fans.
'No further information about Ms Minnelli's condition is available at this time. She is on her way back to New York City and we wish her a speedy recovery.'
It is thought that the concert will be rescheduled.
