Overview
Manu Chao, the legendary French-Spanish performer and songwriter, has hit number one across Europe with his new album 'La Radiolina' this week. 'La Radiolina' - which tops Billboard's European Top 100 chart - is also number one in America's Billboard Top Latin Albums chart.
Chao's fourth studio album has entered the Spanish, Swiss, and Greek charts at number one. It also opened at number two in France, Italy and Belgium, reaching number four in Sweden and five in Germany and Austria. The album is released in the UK next Monday, 17th September.
Manu Chao became the first French artist ever to top European Top 100 Albums with 'Proxima Estacion: Esperanza' in 2001.
Chao will be touring the UK – his first shows in the country since 2002 – starting in London at the beginning of next month.
