Mark Wahlberg has expressed his desire to turn Entourage into a movie.
Wahlberg produced the HBO series through its eight seasons, with the show running from 2004 until earlier this month (Sep).
However, he is cleary not ready to let go, having already started to lay down plans for a feature film version, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
He is quoted as saying: "If I had to finance it myself I would do it...I certainly hope that this has a chance to become a feature film. People are always saying the episodes are too short. They want to go on a journey with these guys."
Show creator Doug Ellin has said that he's ready to get started on a script.
Entourage told the story of a young up-and-coming actor and his friends who have moved from New York City to Los Angeles, and was loosely based on Wahlberg's experiences as a young man.
Wahlberg made a cameo appearance in the show, along with other stars such as Christina Aguilera, Eminem, Kanye West, Matt Damon, Larry David, and James Cameron.
