Mark Wahlberg is over Justin Bieber

Mark, who stars in new flick The Fighter as boxer 'Irish' Mickey Ward, admits his daughter Ella Rae used to have Bieber Fever but she has moved on after she saw on the news he was with someone else.

The 39-year-old originally set up for his daughter to meet the teen heartthrob and said he would 'snatch the hair off' his head if he didn't call to meet his 7-year-old daughter.

He said: 'I didn't think I would be getting that until she was like 14 but she became obsessed with Justin Bieber.

'So it was like OK lets get him on the phone and literally I am doing it at the golf course where you're not allowed to use the phone and I'm hiding and I get him on the phone and I was like hold on I got to get her on the three way.

'He was supposed to call on the first day but he was busy, he didn't call, she was so upset, she was devastated crying - it was almost to the point where I was like if this kid doesn't call when I see him I'm going to snatch that hair off his head.'

But Mark says Ella has got over her infatuation with Bieber and has even ripped the picture down of their meeting because he has now been rumoured to be with Selena, 18.

He added: 'She tore that picture down down because she was kissing some girl, Selena Gomez or something, she saw it on the news, ripped the picture down, was all upset, said I don't like Justin Bieber anymore she liked some guy Mitchel Musso or whatever. Some other guy I'm going to have to strangle.'

The 19-year-old Hannah Montana star later tweeted: 'Just heard on @jayleno Mark Wahlberg's daughter is a fan..if only she knew how big a fan I am of her dad!'

Ella's love for Justin led to rumours that Wahlberg would restart his singing career by releasing a song with Justin but he said it was not true and was just a joke he made for his daughter's benefit.
