Wahlberg, 39, was promoting his new movie The Fighter when he put rumours to rest that he will be starring in the new The Crow reboot.
He said to Access Hollywood: 'No, we talked about it. I love the director they were talking about using and we've had discussions about, but no.'
It was reported last month in Entertainment Weekly that the actor was negotiating a deal to play Brandon Lee's role of Eric Draven/The Crow in the new film.
However he did reveal the movies he is actually working on.
He said: 'I'm going to do a movie called Contraband and then Seth MacFarlane's directorial debut comedy.'
