Meek Mill is "no longer welcome in Toronto", according to City Councillor Norm Kelly.
The 28-year-old rapper, who is also Nicki Minaj's boyfriend, lashed out against Canadian hip hop star Drake on Twitter Tuesday night.
Drake is a Toronto, Canada native and a prominent member of his hometown was quick to defend the musician.
"You're no longer welcome in Toronto, @MeekMill," Norm wrote on his Twitter account Wednesday.
Of course, the politician must have been joking as Meek Mill's Drake diss won't legally bar him from entering Canada or the city of Toronto.
Monster rapper Meek insulted Drake by accusing the 28-year-old All Me hitmaker of hiring a ghostwriter for his lyrics.
"N#%^ s so fake u can blow they cover in two days! (sic)," Meek tweeted, following up the message with the accusation.
"Stop comparing drake to me too.... He don't write his own raps! That's why he ain't tweet my album because we found out!"
But Drake wasn't the only member of the rap community Meek called out.
The star accused several hip hop peers of hiring ghostwriters for their raps.
"Don't compare me to none of the cats that don't write they own raps either...... Lol," Meek emphasised, before noting a few of his colleagues are truly authentic in terms of lyricism. "Kendrick and j cole really know how to rap even tho they in different lanes .... Dude is all the way outta of it lol"
