Watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on TV has always been a holiday tradition for YouTube sensations Megan and Liz, so when they were asked if they'd be interested in performing in this year's festivities their answer was a definitive "yes!"
"It's something we always watched growing up," Megan Mace told. "So it's really weird to be a part of it."
While the twin sisters from Nashville, Tennessee, made a name for themselves singing cover songs on the Web, their plan for this performance is to treat viewers to something original.
"We'll be performing 'Bad for Me,' which is our single," Liz Mace revealed. "It's going to be really fun because, you know, Megan doesn't have her guitar, and we're also on a showboat, so it's a whole new look for Megan and Liz."
One thing about the parade that won't be out of the ordinary, however, is fellow performer Cody Simpson. Apparently, the Australian heartthrob has recently been booked at several of the same events as Megan and Liz. So much so, the girls joked about Simpson potentially needing a restraining order against the duo.
"I think Cody Simpson thinks we're following him," Liz laughed. "It's kind of funny, because we always end up at the same places with Cody Simpson."
Another performer Megan and Liz say they look forward to seeing at this year's parade is the Wanted's Siva Kaneswaran. "He's definitely very attractive," Megan exclaimed.
"He's fierce," Liz agreed. "Didn't he used to be like a male model or something?"
