Mel C album details

Melanie C has confirmed the title of her third solo album, Beautiful Intentions,

The album, the first to be released on the former Spice Girl's own Red Girl Records label which she set up after being dropped by EMI at the beginning of 2004, will be released on April 11 and preceded by a single titled Next Best Superstar on April 4.

Details of tracks on the album have not yet been released.

Mel C is expected to play a series of UK shows to promote the album.

As already confirmed she will perform an acoustic set at the Tsunami fund-raising concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Friday, February 11.

Beautiful Intentions is the follow-up to 2003's Reason album.

Her debut solo album,1999's Northern Star, sold more than one million copies in the UK alone and spawned the No. 1 single Never Be The Same Again.
