Mel C announces UK tour

Melanie C has announced details of a UK tour.

The tour will kick off at the Carling Academy 2 on April 15 in her hometown of Liverpool.

The rest of the tour is:

April 16 - Birmingham Academy 2
April 18 - Sheffield Leadmill
April 19 - Bristol Fleece
April 21 - Shepherd's Bush Empire, London
April 22 - Manchester Academy 2
April 23 - The Lemon Tree, Aberdeen

More dates are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

The former Sporty Spice releases her third solo album, Beautiful Intentions, on April 11 on her own Red Girl Records.

The album will be preceded by a single titled Next Best Superstar on April 4.

As already confirmed Mel C will also perform an acoustic set at the Tsunami fund-raising concert at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall on Friday, February 11.
