Mel C has given birth to a girl.
The former Spice Girls star and her partner Thomas Starr welcomed their first child together into the world in London yesterday (22.02.09).
Mel, who revealed the happy news on her official website, has named the baby Scarlet Starr.
Scarlet weighed a healthy 8lbs 3oz, and Mel says her new arrival is "beautiful" and "doing fine".
No further details about the birth are yet to be released, but Mel is also believed to be doing well.
Mel and Thomas, who have been dating for six years, are set to marry this July.
The 35-year-old singer previously revealed she was "delighted" about the couple's impending arrival, insisting she always knew she would have children.
Mel - full name Melanie Chisholm - said at the time: "I love kids and one of the best bits about touring with the Spice Girls this time round was getting to know everyone's babies. I'm sure babies will be part of my future."
She is the last member of the Spice Girls to have a child. Emma Bunton is mother to 18-month-old son Beau, Geri Halliwell has a daughter, two-year-old Bluebell, Mel B has two daughters Phoenix-Chi, nine, and 22-month-old Angel Iris, while Victoria Beckham has three sons - Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, six, and Cruz who turned four on February 20.
