Metallica to release Glastonbury + all 27 2014 concerts in box set

Good news for Metallica fans - the band will be releasing a massive box sets of all 27 concerts played in 2014, including their huge headline show at Glasontbury. 

As well as Glasto, the set also features their acoustic benefit concert for MusicCares (with covers by The Beatles, Ozzy Osbourne and Deep Purple), while the remaining 25 shows were part of the band’s 'By Request Tour',which featured setlists handpicked by fans - including their headline slot at Sonisphere. 

The whole set will be released in December, and can be pre-ordered here for the princely sum of $417 (£256).

Metallica will also be releasing individual CD of all shows from 23 September, while select gigs will be available on limited edition 180gram vinyl from early 2015. Credit cards at the ready, metal fans.
