Storming straight into the New Year, Miles Kane releases fierce new single 'Give Up', February 24th on Columbia Records.
The undeniable swagger of 'Give Up', with its powerful vocals and dirty guitars, hints at a new heavier side to the British rock 'n' roller. The track, co-written by Kid Harpoon and produced by Ian Broudie (The Zutons, Echo and the Bunnymen), is taken from Miles's eagerly anticipated second LP, due for release later this year and the follow-up to his acclaimed debut 'Colour of the Trap'.
A 4-track EP will be released digitally via iTunes on February 24th, with a 7" format available the following day.
Miles says: "I wanted the energy and positivity that I've felt in the past 18 months to be reflected on the new album - to make it upbeat and uplifting, and to me that's exactly what 'Give Up' does. It doesn't mess around."
Miles Kane and his stellar band – drummer Jay Sharrock, guitarist George Moran, bassist Phillip Anderson and keyboard player Ben Parsons – go on the road in February for the NME's 'party-on-wheels' Awards Tour, playing 12-dates alongside Django Django, Palma Violets and Peace.
