Moving on from being the co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets and formerly the frontman of The Rascals Miles Kane last night took to the small but perfectly formed Water Rats stage to play his first solo offering.
Miles and the rest of the four-piece played 10 tracks with a generally rocked up beat including the fantastic new single 'Inhaler'. A Lennon vibe was also evidence culminating in the last track 'Better Left Inside' morphing into a screeching version of Lennon's 'Cold Turkey', which you can see below.
At only 24 and already in his third incarnation it looks as if Miles is here to stay and with friends such as Liam Gallagher rumoured be be helping out on vocals he looks like one to watch in 2011.
Fellow The Last Shadow Puppets cohort Alex Turner was also in the crowd cheering him on with rumours of a new Last Shadow Puppets album in 2011 also rife.
The setlist was:
Come closer
Re-arrange
My fantasy
King crawler
Counting down the days
Quicksand
Inhaler
Telepathy
Take the night
Better left invisible
