Miley Cyrus admits she pushed her relationship aside to focus on her music.
The 20-year-old singer - who was spotted wearing her engagement ring again this week after working on her issues with her 'Hunger Games' star fiance Liam Hemsworth - has confessed that other parts of her life, including her relationships, have completely changed since she began working on her new album because it has been her top priority recently.
The 'Fall Down' singer revealed during a live Google Plus hangout with will.i.am on Tuesday (23.04.13) to celebrate the release of his new album 'Willpower': 'All I do is focus on my music. The only place I ever am is at the studio.
'I mean it's literally like my friends, my relationships with everyone around me have honestly changed since I've been working on my record because it's the only thing that I've wanted to give 120% to and I think it's the only time in my life that I've pushed everything aside, everyone aside, anything that, you know, really mattered and just became about the music.'
The couple recently postponed their wedding to work on their relationship following rumours linking Liam, 23, to actress January Jones earlier this year and amid reports he was fed up with Miley's constant partying.
But will.i.am, who was also joined during the hangout by Britney Spears, Nicole Scherzinger and Jimmy Iovine, hinted that all of Miley's sacrifices have been worth it as he said her new album is incredible.
He said: 'I know the things I like in life. I like a whole lot of stuff, but this new Miley Cyrus stuff I added to my list of the things that l love.
'She has redefined everything that you thought Miley Cyrus was. After I heard it I was like 'I'm so glad I heard it before it came out, want to do a collaboration', because I don't want to be the bandwagon guy after she blew the world up. I'm so blessed to collaborate with Miley before everybody gets melted by the wonderfulness.'
