Miley Cyrus insists there will be no dramatics between her and Alicia Keys on The Voice.
The 23-year-old singer is known for courting controversy with her often outrageous comments. But as she appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (17May16), Miley told the host that she and Alicia have nothing but love for one another.
"I think The Voice this year is going to be very fun because we got Alicia and it's the first year there's two girls," Miley smiled.
"We (Alicia and I) were together today and it's like a total lovefest. Her and I are both extremely mellow. I think people, when they put girls on TV, they (think), 'This is how we're going to get the ratings up because there's going to be drama and there's going to be cat fights.' They're thinking that we're just going to bring kind of the dramatics to the show and we couldn't be more opposite."
Miley and Alicia will appear as judges on the next season alongside Blake Shelton and Adam Levine. Country singer Blake has already been enjoying winding his younger judge up, but Miley said he will live to regret his comments.
"Blake made a joke (that) he knows (the reason) I always have my tongue out is because it's always tired because I never stop talking," Miley continued. "But he's going to regret that when I win because it came in handy when I was there and I really wanted to spend time with each contestant and there's some awesome singers."
Miley opted for a furry pink jacket with matching pink ribbed trousers and a T-shirt featuring a picture of a cat for her appearance on the show. Of her top, she told Jimmy: "It's Shanti, my cat at home and I miss my animals so much when I travel that I get them airbrushed on my shirts so we can be together."
Fans also noted that Miley was once again wearing the engagement ring she was formerly given by boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, with whom she has recently reunited.
