Singer Miley Cyrus has blasted celebrities like Kim Kardashian for "acting tacky" on International Women's Day.
The 23-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday (08March16) and appeared to slam the reality star, 35, as well as singer Bette Midler, 70, and actress Chloe Grace Moretz after the trio became entangled in a war of words on social media, which began on Monday (07March16).
"Dear women, you ALL are acting tacky AF (as f**k)! Why don't we overly (myself included) fortunate women come together and try to create and bring jobs to other women in desperate need of them so they can support not only THEMSELVES but their families!" she began. "Can we all put the c**tiness aside for one f**king day and love/celebrate one another!
"PS no matter how hard you (or myself) work NEVER will I feel I am worthy of the comfort I live in... Because so many others while I tuck myself in at night are laying their head on the pavement, dreaming of all the things we take for granted every day. Much love to all my women!!!!"
Miley's outburst comes days after singer/actress Bette took aim at Kim following the posting of her latest nude selfie. The Beaches star claimed the only way the mother-of-two could show off a part of herself that the Internet hasn't seen is if she swallowed a camera.
Kim immediately hit back claiming Bette was a "fake friend" before joking she should send some nude pics of her own if she was still up.
The socialite's tweets prompted speculation her outspoken husband Kanye West was behind the social media rant, but Kim was quick to confirm the messages had come from her own fair hand, writing: "Wait I can't believe people thought Kanye or (sister) Khloe hacked my Twitter. I swear I'm funny too!!!"
Bette, who is also known for her quick wit, didn't hesitate in firing back at Kim, posting on her Twitter account on Tuesday (08March16): "@KimKardashian: I never tried to fake friend you. Looks like anyone can take a selfie but not everyone can take a joke..."
Bette wasn't the only star to get involved in the drama, as Kick-Ass actress Chloe also tweeted about the reality star, writing how she hoped Kim realised how important it was to be a good role model to other women.
"I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies," she wrote, prompting Kim to reply, "Let's all welcome @ChloeGMoretz to twitter, since no one knows who she is."
