Miley Cyrus and Hemsworth 'definitely over'

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are apparently "done".

Rumours have been rife that the young couple's engagement is on the rocks and it's even been claimed Liam cheated on his fiancée with Mad Men star January Jones.

According to Us Weekly, the couple have really called it quits.

"They are definitely over," a source told the American magazine.

"We're done," Miley is also said to have told a pal.

The Can't Be Tamed singer has been spotted without her engagement ring on several occasions but so far the stars have both remained tight-lipped about their situation.

According to the magazine, the pair now find themselves in an "awkward" housing situation as neither has moved out of their shared home.

A source also divulged that Miley and Liam are sleeping in separate beds.

"It's strange," the insider commented.

Us Weekly also reports Liam's brothers Chris and Luke staged an intervention to express their concerns regarding their sibling's rocky relationship with the former Disney star.

A source says Miley was always fighting with her Hunger Games beau and started flirting with other guys when she heard the rumours about January.

In the past, Miley's erratic behaviour and her extreme makeover have been cited as causes for the pair's problems.

"[Liam] wants to make sure Miley's in a good place before they announce a split," an insider recently explained.

"He doesn't want her to go nuts and do anything stupid."
