Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly decided to put their wedding hold.
According to Life & Style magazine, Miley had been planning to marry her fiancé this summer in Palm Springs, California.
The singer allegedly decided to halt her preparations after rumours emerged earlier this year indicating the pair had hit a rough patch in their relationship.
"They were supposed to get married in June," an insider revealed. "But there have been so many problems with them, they thought it was best to work out their issues before making such a big commitment."
It is also being reported the 23-year-old Australian actor's family has started to question whether they will commit to each other.
The wife of Liam's brother Chris, actress Elsa Pataky, recently told the publication she had no idea whether the wedding would take place.
"I don't know," Elsa answered in response to the marriage question. "If they get married, it would be nice to go [to their wedding]."
Liam and Miley met in 2009 and announced their engagement in June 2012. This year the couple have been plagued by rumours suggesting Liam had kissed actress January Jones. Following the accusations, Miley was pictured without her engagement ring in Los Angeles, while Liam visited his native Australia.
"They aren't ready," the insider reflected on their somewhat separate lives. "Their families are both concerned. They don't want to see Miley and Liam get married and then get divorced. They're very young to be getting married."
