The Flaming Lips have revealed that they're recording new music with Miley Cyrus, following a performance together in Los Angeles last month.
The band's lead singer Wayne Coyne posted a picture on Instagram of Cyrus rolling a joint (using her own 'Bangerz' branded paper) accompanied by the caption "Yup..... Recording with Miley.... High as fuck...."
Cyrus performed with The Flaming Lips during her concert in Los Angeles last month, which roughly coincided with the band's 30th anniversary. In fact, the band have been together nearly ten years longer than Cyrus has been alive.
Together they performed 'Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots', taken from The Flaming Lips' 2002 album of the same name.
It's unclear in what capacity the musicians are working together, but we have no doubt it'll be an intriguing collaboration.
